Marina Abramovic definitely likes to put herself in danger. In 2020 the Serbian artist, who regularly pushes the boundaries of her physical and mental abilities, will take sensory power to an extreme for her performance at London’s Royal Academy of Arts. Her body will be charged with electricity, adding enough power so that she can extinguish a candle just by pointing her finger at it. Through this kind of performance, the artist pursues her consideration, pushes limits in the art world and as a human being in the era of new arising technologies.
