The group will market a line of makeup and care in 2020 in addition to its fragrances. This project, which the Parisian luxury group has had in mind for a few years, is expected to materialize in early 2020 with a big launch.
“We will be humble and cautious”, said Axel Dumas, the manager of Hermes. It’s a big market, full of strong players. For skincare and cosmetics products, Hermes is testing different manufacturers in order to achieve “the best Savoir-Faire”, with sourcing to be shared between France and Italy and plans of using plastic-free packaging.
