Tomatoes also clear acne, deep cleanse pores and fight premature aging. So, here’s a simple tomato face mask recipe to refresh your complexion.
Brighten dull skin with a brightening tomato and honey face mask. The lycopene content in tomatoes can slightly tan your skin giving you that gorgeous glowing look. Honey also has wonderful brightening properties for the skin.
Tips
1. Use raw honey for skin, it’s always best.
2. Wear a headband to protect your hairline and bangs from the sticky honey.
3. Apply the mask on your face over your kitchen or bathroom sink.
Ingredients
• 1/2 ripe tomato
• 1 tablespoon honey
Directions
Blend the tomato till you get a smooth puree. Stir in the honey and mix well. Apply the mixture onto your face. Sit for 15 minutes to allow the mixture to sink deep. Then wash off with cold water. Pat your face dry. If your skin tends to be a little dry, apply a light moisturiser.
